Kumquaty Asian Salmon Cake February 3, 2013

28 oz cooked salmon
1 poblano diced
3 cloves garlic diced
3 inch ginger diced
8 spring onions diced
3 tbs sesame seed oil
1 tbs red chili oil
3 eggs
salt to taste

Breakup salmon into small pieces. Add diced veggies and salt, mix thoroughly. Stir in sesame seed, chili oil and egg until you can’t see the egg anymore. Heat up olive oil in a frying pan. Make salmon into patties pack together tightly. Fry til brown on one side. Flip and fry other side.

No picture 😦 my salmon cakes tasted great but fell apart. Next time I might try baking them and drizzle them with the olive oil to make sure they still brown.
