1/4 C. molasses (iron, calcium)

1 tsp instant coffee
2 eggs

6 tbs cacao powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
pinch sea salt
handful pecans
handful semi sweet chocolate chips

Preheat over to 350 degrees. Put everything in the food processor except pecans and chocolate chips process til smooth. Fold in pecans. Pour into greased glass pie dish. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Bake for 30-45 mins. Cool. Enjoy! This turned out really good might have even been able to cut back on more of the molasses. plenty sweet.

Update: brought a few sample to work not thinking that they would like it at all considering how low in sugar it is and surprise they liked it ๐Ÿ™‚ yay!

This sounds like an interesting twist to a brownie! I suppose I could use rice molasses?

I don’t see why not. The addition of mollasses wasn’t to add any structure to the brownie just a little sweetness and some vitamins and minerals. You could even leave it out or lessen the amount shouldn’t make any difference for anything but taste…haven’t tried that yet but whatever works for your taste buds ๐Ÿ™‚
